There is nothing more important to preserving our hunting traditions than sharing your sport with children. Adhering to this belief, I brought my twin daughters deer hunting on Friday January 12 in New Jersey. Although we saw no deer, we had a great time. The kids got to put some camo and blaze orange on, carry some equipment, and sit in a tree stand for a couple hours. I was able to teach them some things about hunting safety and technique, but more importantly, I was able to spend some quality time with my children. I encourage each of you to do the same.
