The Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife announced a regulation to extend Delaware’s rabbit hunting season, effective January 11.
This change extends the rabbit hunting season each year to the last day of February or the
last Saturday of February, if the last day of the month falls on a Sunday.
After careful review of biological data, the Division concluded that the season extension would not have an adverse effect on the state’s overall rabbit population.
